of the Barossa Valley
Vic Kraft designed and planted many of the great Barossa vineyards between the 1940s and 1970s.
Knowing that vineyard design has a direct relationship to the quality of the resulting wine, Vic Kraft used a blend of old world know-how and modern science.
He was known to winemaker Rolf Binder as ‘The Vineyard Architect’ who now makes these wines as a tribute to the legacy of Vic Kraft.
James Halliday has rated these wines 95 and 94 points.

Old Vine Heritage
Rolf Binder was lucky to have learnt from 'The Vineyard Architect' himself while developing his family's new vineyards in the 1960s and 1970s.
Made from vines aged between 35 - 65 years, the wines demonstrate the power and elegance that comes from well designed and mature vineyards.
Open fermented and hand made, these small batch wines are matured in the best oak barrels for 20 months.
